The Combat Continues to Good
Takeaways In the Metal Gear Survive Beta
Metal Gear Survive’s combat strategy is simply the same one we were in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, so it’s not surprising that this gameplay comfortable to wear. Shooting still is fun, whether or not the melee attacks senses a tiny bit stiff. Still, Survive actually adds on the combat system with new melee weapons like the spear and axe. This enables for the extra depth somewhere that you can essentially poke at zombies by crafting a fence to keep them out.
Metal Gear Survive does feature a stamina system that drains quickly when you’re sprinting, so you’ll must be mindful of that while active on the battlefield. However, as fun as being the combat is, a lot of the controls feel a little bit unintuitive, for example being required to hold L1 and pressing another button to implement a service.
